My Old man

He was a talented musician, playing in bands both in Jamaica and England and carried his love of music through into the church when he became a christian.

We were constantly surrounded by his music & singing,

Pops had a passion for growing tings and tending the soil at his allotment, he would spend many hours nurturing his crop of calaloo, potatoes, tomatoes and runner beans and was renowned for pumpkins which were very popular with his church brethrens.

His actions were a source of inspiration that enabled me to push on through my own life struggles. By example he taught me to always persevere and never give up. His love still guides me like a light in the darkness of the night.

I will always love my old man .......
